“Bob is an effective tutor and I would highly recommend him. My name is Matthew and I am a junior at the University of Texas at Arlington,
majoring in architecture. I am required to complete Physics I and II in order to graduate and had been experiencing trouble with the course’s content prior
to hiring Bob as a tutor. Bob helped me to recognize my strengths and worked diligently with me on my weaknesses. He is very professional and
understanding with an extremely positive attitude. Bob demonstrated a clear understanding and knowledge of the material and effectively helped me to better
understand all concepts in the course. He is willing to provide additional help if your understanding is still unclear. I will continue to work with Bob during the upcoming semester for my Physics II course, as I have found his teaching helpful. “
“I am living proof that you have no better choice than Bob for GMAT preparation: he brought my score to a 690 from 550 a couple of months ago. As an English major with no college math coursework, I was extremely unprepared for the quantitative portion of the test which b-schools care so much about. Even the big-name test course I paid thousands for only brought my overall score to a 610 in practice tests. With Bob's help, my total Official Gmat score is a 690, with my quantitative score surpassing my verbal(Quantitative score about 740)! The GMAT is a deciding factor in your entrance to the best schools. Invest your time and money wisely - hire Bob.

“Hello Bob,
I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude and appreciation for all you have done for Gabriel, and to offer an endorsement and recommendation to others who might be considering whether to employ your services.
As you know, he had been incorrectly placed on a remedial math track for a couple of years, although he actually had some talent in math. In December of last year I met with his school counselor and asked when he would be taking calculus, since he had decided he wanted to become a scientist. She checked his records and told me that, based on his placement, the answer was simply: "never!" He still had to finish geometry, learn algebra, trigonometry, and pre-calculus, and there were not enough semesters left before he would graduate.
Fortunately she is good at her job, and worked with me to create a plan to get him back on track. The first part of the plan was to enroll him in a distance learning class in College Algebra, which we did through Texas Tech. The second was to acquire a tutor, and that's when we were extremely lucky to find you.
For anyone who is reading this who might be thinking about using your services, I want to state the facts quite plainly. At the very beginning you explained that your goal was to prepare him so thoroughly that MIT would be forced to admit him, that you wanted him to do algebra like it was addition. You worked with him twice a week from February through June, with only a couple of missed weeks. In that time he completed the College Algebra class with a high "A" average, and aced the final exam. Because of that his high school approved him to start Calculus First Year this September.
If that were all you had accomplished with my son, I would certainly have considered this to be one of the best investments I had ever made. But much to my surprise there was more to come.
After he finished the Algebra course he had a couple of weeks before Boy Scout camp in June. He was worried about going into calculus in September, so he decided to read a little bit ahead. He picked up one of the textbooks on pre-calculus, and started reading trigonometry. Since the foundation you had given to him was so strong, he was able to understand it right away, and started doing the problems. He finished the pre-calculus trig unit before camp, and then left for 10 days.
When he came back he thought that he should read a little calculus, so as to be better prepared for the Fall. He picked up a calculus textbook and started working through it in the same way you taught him Algebra. Soon he became fascinated, and started reading and working calculus problems all day. I mean ALL DAY!!! As in 10, 12, even 14 hours a day!
In four weeks he had worked through two high school calculus textbooks and a college-level engineering math text that included some other topics also. During this entire time you kept working with him on the fundamentals and encouraging his further explorations.
After the first day of calculus class in September his math teacher took him aside and examined his understanding thoroughly, even having him explain his thought processes while solving some calculus problems.
The very next day his math teacher announced to the school administrators that he was placing Gabe in second year Calculus -- that he would bypass first year completely! When the administrators objected, he simply stated that it would be a complete waste of time for Gabe to take first year Calculus, because he knew it as thoroughly as he knew basic arithmetic, and that in fact Gabe already knew most of second year already. What could they do but go along?
Since then Gabe has excelled in the class, to the point where his teacher has put him on the school's math team. With your help Gabe is now going further on, into advanced calculus and higher-level math.
Clearly his dream of becoming a scientist is much, much closer than we ever thought possible last winter. Without you I am sure this would not have happened.
In this letter I've concentrated almost entirely on the results you've achieved with my son. But I wouldn't be doing you justice is I didn't also talk about your personal characteristics that have made such a difference. You are patient, helpful and unfailingly encouraging. You are blessed with a winning personality that makes your students want to earn your respect -- I've observed that with several other of your students besides Gabe. You are extremely honest and truly very gifted as a teacher. Without your dedication to his best interests his talent in math might never have surfaced. I and my wife are very grateful, more than we can express. Whatever good you have done in your business life prior to now, and I'm sure it must have been considerable, is far overshadowed by the changes your are enabling in your students' lives right now. For some of them, like my son, a whole new world has opened up, filled with undreamt-of possibility.
For anyone who happens to read this, I will only say that, if anything, I have understated the astonishing progress that my son has made under Bob's instruction. I will be more than happy to speak individually with anyone who wants verify the endorsement I've made here. Typically I would never offer to do such a thing, but Bob has done such an extraordinary job with Gabe that I must.

“Bob is an outstanding teacher. I am happy I met Bob. Before taking Bob’s help, I took SMU prep and Princeton Review courses. Still my score was at 490. Then I took the tutoring help from Bob for about 20 hours. My Official Gmat Score rose to 630. Now, I am further preparing and aiming to get a 700 score taking further Bob’s tutoring help. I am confident that I will get that score with Bob’s help. Bob sat with me one on one basis and explained thoroughly the concepts of various problems that come in Gmat. He believes in hard work and not guess work. He does not believe in techniques and gimmicks. Of course, he taught me short cuts and tips but only after I learnt each math concepts thoroughly. I really understood and began to enjoy solving problems. I highly recommend Bob tutoring for those who want to improve their quantitative score in a short time."
“First of all I would like to say, Bob is a VERY EXCELLENT TEACHER!!! I would,
FOR SURE!, recommend him to others. Bob helped me learn everything about
chemistry and not just certain topics but the whole concept. He is very
respectful, kind, and patient and will make sure you understand what is
going on before moving on to the next subject. He took a great deal of
time to do notes and go over certain areas in chemistry that I had
trouble with. He gives over 150% into helping his students succeed and
making sure that he can meet them at their time and preference. Not only
has he helped me with chemistry but he has also helped me with my
mathematics and other courses. When tutoring with Bob I enjoy what I learn
and aquire a great deal of knowledge. I travel a good distance almost
3-4 times a week to meet with Bob but it is totally WORTH IT!!!
I plan to still tutor with Bob for my other upcoming classes as a
undergraduate for the next four years!!!!
"
“Bob has proven methods that took me back to basics to build foundations that now helps me solve simple to complex Gmat Word Problems in Number System, Basic Algebra & Geometry, Coordinate Geometry, Statistics, Sequences & Series, Permutqations & Combinations, Venn Problems & Counting Methods, Probability, Ration & Proportion, Percents, Profits & Losses, Discounts & Taxes, Exponential Growth rates, Simple & Compound Interests, Distance & Rate, Work & Time, Simulataneous and Quadratic Equations. I took Power Score Prep course but my Gmat score was still at 540. After taking Bob's tutoring for about 20 sessions I mad a 660 in Official Gmat test.
Bob is knowledgeable, thorough, understanding and patient. Further, Bob has tons of energy that he utilyzes to motivate his students. He teaches easy methods, short cuts, tricks and time saving techniques to solve intricate problems.
For those who are looking for a perfect Quantitative Score on Gmat, I highly recommend him for tutroing. He is really awesome."

“Bob has been tutoring me for GMAT for the last three months. I really need help in understanding basic concepts of mathematics, as I have forgotten those rudimentary principles in Mathematics. During my high school and college studies, I have overlooked the imprtance of mathematics because as I have felt math has always been a boring subject. Further, I used to feel a lot of pressure in tackling problems, especially in a limited time. Math has been intimidating suject to me. However, Bob has helped me to over my anxiety. He has taught me as to how to relax and resolve problems. Bob has made math sweet and simple. He not only teaches math from basic to complex concepts necessary for Gmat test. A number of times, I have lost track of time many times during Bob’s tutoring sessions. He makes math interesting and absorbing.
“
“With one month tutoring with Bob, my score GMAT MATH SCORE increased by 110 points to 640. He has identified my weak areas pretty quickly and has strived to help me strengthen those areas that need improvement.

“I enthusiastically recommend Bob's services. I worked with Bob to improve my quantitative score on the GRE. Although math has never been a very compelling subject for me, his enthusiasm for teaching and passion for the subject matter inspired me to reach my full potential. Furthermore, his positive attitude and encouragement were contagious! I found myself looking at math in a new way; this aroused my curiosity about the problems and helped increase my motivation to do well. Finally, he helped put me at greater ease about the test, which was a key factor for me, since I usually have some anxiety when it comes to tests. Although I won't miss taking the experience of taking the GRE, I will actually miss my tutoring sessions with Bob. I may call on him again should I need help with Statistics next year! “

“Meeting Bob has been a blessing. Before meeting Bob I enrolled in a GMAT prep course for a weekend and it was a good start but it was nothing like the support and assistance that Bob has provided. A lot of prep courses offer strategy tips and tricks but lack the basics and help students focus on the actual application of math skills. Bob not only took time to access where I currently was but he created a curriculum customized for me so that I could go back to my days of school and sharpen up on previously learned skills. I suggest and have referred colleagues and associates to meet with Bob before paying hundreds and thousands of dollars to attend some in-personal corporate class. The fact is, in the world we live in today you just don't and won't find many 1 on 1 tutoring services like the one Bob provides."
Bob has been an outstanding GMAT tutor based on his passion and knowledge of mathematics. He leverages great math skills with a real desire to teach and help students learn. I started studying on my own but could not get the math score I desired. After one-on-one sessions with Bob, I much more confident with my ability to get a strong GMAT score."
“Dr. Bob C,
we are so very blessed to have you for Stephanie's tutor and mentor as
well. I look forward to the continued tutoring and mentoring that you will provide her, and am thankful that it will continue on. Her father and I hope for you blessings of peace and comfort.

“After a long time away from math, I spent a couple of years trying to
learn it on my own, but was not very successful. Then I found Bob, and
since then I've made real progress.
I was worried because I'd forgotten so much, but he was very patient.
He takes the time to make sure I understand each concept, checking to be
sure, and can explain the concepts in multiple ways. He sets problems for
me to solve and watches carefully to be sure I'm getting the meaning.
He has a genuine love for the subject, and has been able to transmit
some of the wonder of this remarkable subject.
I should mention his unfailing courtesy and pleasant manner; his concern
and care for others always shows. It's truly a privilege to be learning
from him.
"
